Restaurant style menu at home

When we go to a restaurant, we scan through the menu and we have an irresistible urge of trying almost everything that they have to offer. Sometimes it becomes difficult to make up our mind on what starters we want, what mains and then desserts! Do you also feel the same?

So we thought why not have a restaurant style setting and menu at home! We can be the chefs at our very own Home restaurant. Set up a nice dining table, play some music and get a menu ready. Don’t worry, here we have curated a restaurant like menu especially for you. Make space for a 3 course meal coming your way. If you like, write this menu down on a sheet and hand it out to your ‘guests’ of the day.

Yes, agreed there is a bit of an effort in cooking up some amazing recipes and serving them like they do in restaurants, but trust us, it is totally worth every effort. You can prep for some dishes in advance so that you can enjoy while your meal too. And if at all there’s left-overs, gold! So come on, get ready to be appreciated with every single yummilicious dish that you present.

First course:

Start off with a cooling drink- Jal Jeera. It is so refreshing that everyone will be excited to see what comes next. Along with this serve some namkeen like Namak pare Masale which you can make in advance. And to make everyone feel welcome, serve them a homemade Kesar Peda bejewelled with pistachios on top. Yes, you can totally make these at home, simply refer to our recipes.

Main Course:

Now it is time for some real heroes of the meal! In this course you can offer a variety. Begin with some roti-sabzi, of course not the usual one! Our step by step recipes are at your disposal, so make the most of it. Serve the ultra-healthy yet delicious Sarson ka saag & maakke ki roti. Now that is more like restaurant, isn’t it? But if you have some fussy eaters who aren’t a fan of leafy greens, make some Paneer pasanda for them. Alongside, offer some lovely Punjabi kadhi and finally end on a healthy note with Soya nugget biryani. You can pack the leftovers in the fridge and have them the next day too!

Desserts:

Here we are at the last and our favourite course of the meal, desserts! Serve a Kala Jamun, cute little khoya balls of joy can make you forget what hour of the day it is, and you’ll just keep asking for more. Make them at home fuss free and serve either hot or cold, choice is yours, either way it tastes delicious. Otherwise, you can resort to some simple yet absolutely yummy Coconut Ladoos. Ladoos stay fresh for a long time so your kids can enjoy them later too.

And so, the restaurant style elaborate meal comes to an end. Your guests must be all pleased with this service at your very own Home –Restaurant.
