Did you know that Indians have a BIG sweet tooth? I mean, the phrase Muh Meetha Karna has been passed down to us through generations. If that is not proof of our ancestors being crazy about their sweets, then what is? Well whether this is true or not, I surely believe it because my urge for sweets kicks in right after each meal and it is extremely hard to resist.
As a child, I have always tried my hand at cooking, baking, and preparing sweets for myself and my family. I have always excelled at making desserts and hence, I keep experimenting with various recipes but there are some desserts for which I stumbled upon even better recipes than my own. Some people eat sweets as they wish to but for some who follow a strict diet, the festive season acts as a great reason to divert from their set meals. Since the celebrations are knocking on our door, I thought it would be great to share some of these recipes I have spoken about with each of you. So, here it goes:
Tiramisu
Every single bite of this delicious dessert forces me to take just another one till I empty out the entire bowl. I cannot emphasise enough on how great this Tiramisu recipe is for those who love coffee-based desserts. I am sure each of us has at least tried a panna cotta once in our lifetime. But, why limit that to just once when you can prepare it at home and consume it whenever your heart desires? For those of you who haven’t, this is a dessert prepared with sweetened cream and gelatin and can be topped with a syrup or compote of your choice.
