Some days we all crave for comfort foods like khichdi but most of the other days we want some chatpata restaurant style food. The classic combo like butter chicken and naan are pretty much a match made in heaven. But do you also feel that replicating the restaurant-style taste at home is very difficult? Think again, as we are set to bring you simplified versions of all these amazing non-veg curries so you can make them at home just like the restaurant.

Butter Chicken

First on the list has to be Butter Chicken. It is one of the most popular Indian curries relished not just in India but also across the globe. Golden fried chicken tikka pieces cooked in a creamy, velvety and flavourful tomato base gravy tastes heavenly. It is best served with roti, naan or pulao. The buttery texture of this curry makes everyone fall in love with it.

Kadhai Chicken

The next popular recipe on the restaurant menu is Kadhai Chicken. The beautiful red colour gravy makes this recipe a little more attractive. Chicken cooked with special kadai masala in tomato puree and cashewnut paste is wholesome and delicious. Again, it goes very well with roti or naan. Trust us, the process is quite easy to replicate at home, so dive in now.

Achari Chicken

Next up is Achari Chicken or Achari Murgh, a spicy chicken curry with Indian spices. Yet again, the chicken tikka are cooked in a spicy and tangy achari masala making it just perfect to relish along with roti, parantha or just as it is. This classic chicken gets a pickle twist because of the marinade in the form of homemade achari masala, making it the ever- favorite, crowd pleasing recipe. When you make this tangy curry, then you don't require anything else!

Murgh Kali Mirch

Now here’s an ideal Sunday dish! As the name suggests, in this recipe boneless chicken is cooked with plenty of black peppercorns and other aromatics making it a little spicy as compared to other curries. The dominant flavour of black pepper in this yummy chicken gravy is what makes it super special. This chicken dish is easy to cook and a must-try for non-vegetarians!

Last on our list is something unique. Unlike the rest of the chicken curries, this is a special Bengali-style mutton curry. Mutton marinated and cooked in traditional Bengali style tastes great even with plain rice. When you need a good spice kick, marinate meat overnight in a blend of spices and yoghurt and make this classic Kosha Mangsho. The slow cooking method enhances the flavours making it one of the more popular curries.

Most of the recipes are with chicken or Murgh as it is the most widely used meat in Indian cooking. Try out these amazing recipes at home and enjoy.
