If you are a person with a sweet tooth then, you don’t have a particular time to eat dessert as every time is dessert time! Indians have a traditional name for sweets which is “mithai” and it plays a vital role in our rich culture and cuisine. India loves their share of mithai so much that we have a habit of serving any kind of sweet at the start of new beginnings as a good omen. “Muh meetha karlo'' isn’t this the staple Indian dialogue perfect for all those who have a sweet tooth? In countries with rich traditions, just like India, having a sumptuous cultural base, sweets play an important part in any type of occasion or festival. Any kind of ceremony or occasion will have sweets in it as they signify good luck, happiness, and prosperity. In our Bharat, every happy occasion is marked with the distribution of sweets to share happiness and joy. Indeed, sweets are equal to happiness and to boost your smile, here we have some sweet-ish recipes for you to try!



Rasmalai

Poha Kheer

Kheer is one of the quickest and yummy desserts we can make during any special occasion and every special occasion demands a different kheer. This poha kheer which is also known as Aval payasam is quite popular in the Southern part of India. Poha in Tamil is translated as Aval. Red rice poha turns into this sweet and enticing kheer that can be the best option to impress your family and guests.



Shahi Tukda
